Who doesn't love a top 5 list? Ok, so, the second I click publish, my list will have changed again. I'm not very good at choosing my favourite anything and I am especially bad when it comes to movies, as there are just so many that I love. I have spent quite a while trawling my Letterboxd to decide which movies are my favourite and I have narrowed it down to 5, just about. This list however, is in no-way a ranking as it would take me weeks of self-debate in order to do that. There are a lot of movies out there, and so many that I have yet to see but, without further ado (do people still say that?), here is my top 5! 1. The Great Escape (1963) - I said that this isn't a ranking but I think this could be my all-time favourite movie. It's great! I know it's a classic case of 'based on a true story' taking a lot of liberties with the facts. Hello and welcome to my blog. I never really thought I would have a blog but, here we are! I have decided that a blog is a good outlet for me to express myself, especially because I have a lot of things to talk about. First of all, I am in not a writer, although movies such as Spotlight and Zodiac have certainly inspired me. I am an incredibly shy person, I'm not very good at meeting new people or going out of my way to make myself known, even when I am with people I know, I am quiet; maybe I just as though I don't have much to say. In reality, I do have things to say and so I thought a blog, where I can be somewhat anonymous, would be a good platform for me. I'm not too sure what I plan to write about in this blog yet, I have very much gone into this, without thinking it through.
